Reviews for "Stick Squad"

Mission 10 sucked big time. If it wasnt for it, this would be at least a 4. The calibration was done but the bullet still misses a lot. There is no hint as to where the enemy is hiding and you cant really guess how big the target is. 1Km distance? I expected to zoom or something. At least show a leg or smth like the previous level. Flawed level.

When you can actually get to the game, it's not too bad. Smooth and slick control, plenty of options and follows a working formula. Pretty neat. And the originality of the missions is good too.
But...
The breath shake is way too annoying as the character huffs and puffs like an asthmatic rhino.
Half that period, especially if speeded up, would be less annoying and still challenging.
No skip on the intro and it goes on for ever. Way, way too annoying. Cutscenes too.
Give a skip option or cut them to 20 and 5 seconds respectively.
I bet you lose lots of players who just get pissed at having to watch that war-and-peace-length movie before they can play. Looking forward to the next submission.

Good concept! Poorly executed, sadly.
The sticks are drawn just like Sift Heads, and so is the style of dialogue, etc.
There is no travel time, and yet you have us calibrate the scope. Okay.
Shooting range is bugged, and you cannot hit the first target it gives you [If it spawns one!]
Aimpunch is ridiculously high and unrealistic compared to a similar combat situation.
Some missions are luck-based rather than strategy-based due to the crosshair shake and the unadjustable sensitivity.
There is no in-game quality change, so you have to right click. When you right click, the window does not refocus properly and you can still see the mouse on top of the crosshair.
The Ambush target time is unfair as you cannot hit the target on the bottom 100% of the time, due to there being a LOCKED crosshair instead of a strafing [Works with off screen mouse] crosshair.
Some missions are luck-based purely on chance of a certain event happening [E.G. the second 'save walker' mission.]
Since the shooting range is bugged, you cannot get the 185 stars medal.
The FAL is underpowered, and should, in fact, be more powerful than the AK-47 due to the 7.62x54mm NATO cartridge, unlike the AK-47 [Which should really be an AKM, because nobody really uses the old AK-47...] which uses a 7.62x39mm cartridge.
The M16 should be even WEAKER than the AK-47, and only have more stability, due to using a 5.56x45mm NATO cartridge [Which, frankly, is not enough power to down an entire group of armed mercs, compared to the several AKM rifles they have been provided with...].
The Desert Eagle shouldn't be able to hold MORE than the G17! The G17 comes standard with a 17 round magazine, and that's for consumer use!
The Dragunov SVD doesn't have more potential than the M21 SWS, due to there being very few exchangable parts. And yet, somehow, you can make it more stable [Which you can't, since the stock is an integral part of the frame, and so are the wood grips...] than the M21 [Which you COULD make better, since the entire system besides the upper and lower reciever can be completely modified without extensive changes to said recievers.]

Once again, poorly executed. And if you're going to try and make this an app that costs 0.99...
Good luck.

Well. At least it's fun enough for the first few minutes. But after that it gets really. Eh. Old. Right off the bat and you're introduced this voice acting that is awful. Sounds like it was recorded through a tin can. And secoundly you're faced with the difficulty of having your mouse just slide off the game screen. Which makes shooting at targets near the edge of the game almost impossible. It's fun. But flawed.

Not available in UK? When I click 'start' after it loads up, it takes me to a different tab saying that it isn't available in my country.
