I can't wrap my head around this to give constructive criticism, but I do know that it sounds exactly like the title claims. The song isn't perfect, but it is very good. Good work. If you had disgraced the word Avalon I might have punished you.

thoughtful hero
The Hero prays, thoughful yet troubled, while resting on his journey. He considers all he's done. The men he's killed, their lives cut short. And he ponders. Has he done the right thing? Yes, decides he. For without him, the free would be lost, innocent blood spilt over and over. Thus, he straps on his armor with a heart feather light, off to continue his journey.
