Reviews for "Shadow Puppets"

When I saw your name come up, I knew this was going to be a class act. Very smooth, well drawn and shaded, great voice acting. Roughly how many frames is this, and at what fps? I really liked the script, doing playful humor is an art, and you're becoming a master!

AtroxChobatsu responds:

Oh my gosh, I never saw this comment. Super late response haha.

I did this at 24 fps! Not sure how many unique frames are in the short, but the entire timeline is 2700 frames long.

Thanks for watching! I'm glad you like it! :D

CUTE!

O_O... I am not sure if i just saw correctly there, but. Did he just make some impossible shadow pictures ? how did he make the train out of a sudden... he must be a magician or something, my head hurts now, i just can't seem to figure this out, but it was fun and good animation, so you will get full five stars!... now i just need to calm down again

Awesome stuff. Light-hearted, fun and impressive animation (loved the shadow train)! As another user said, it reminds me of old Warner Bros. cartoons in the best way. I like the character designs and voices of these two as well. Lots of warmth and personality in them. Keep up the good work!

Awesome job man. Animation was super super slick. Humor was, well, geared toward a younger audience I think? I personally found it more charming than funny, but that's probably what you were going for. I think I've seen the unrealistic shadow puppet gag done somewhere before, but you pulled it off well.

AtroxChobatsu responds:

Thank you! I try to make my cartoons accessible for any age. I know there's always a risk of people thinking it's made "for kids" but I believe that a good "mature" cartoon doesn't need violence or fart jokes, or even a dramatic or gritty story. Friendly or inoffensive humor doesn't equal childish or immature, you know?

Anyway, I'm glad you liked it!
