Reviews for "A Dance of Fire and Ice"

Fun game, but audio sync is a bit off for me (wasn't always, might just be on my end). Can we get a link to that song somewhere? I want to be able to listen to it.

You can beat the game by only clicking like a total jerk. 10/10

Yeah! Just beat Dance of Fire and Ice (0.8x) totally blind (and not clicking like a total jerk).

no more clicking like a total jerk, haha. thanks for the heads up!

Good! But also frustrating. The key to getting people to like games like these is not to make the levels too long. Or at least parts of the level. If I can get a straight line right 10 times in a row I can do it 100 times... But I'd rather only have to do it 10 times. And seeing as its unlikely I'm going to complete a level on my first try that 10 will be repeated many times. Its more bearable than having to do 100 in a row again and again, and less tiring too. Hell my fingers are tired after playing this game!
Having said that though I do like it. Its a clever little idea with some good music and an unseen take on the Ludum Dare. Overall a good job! Just could use a little polishing here and there and a bit less repetition.

such a good concept but then as everybody already said, button spamming works, which is not good.

The gameplay's solid though.

However, despite whether we legibly play it or spam buttons, the moment you reach 1.5x speed onward without the assistance of an auto clicker, from a third person's perspective, I was told it looks as though I was button spamming... nevertheless even if it's in rhythm.

Great game for the reaction-based players at that speed though. It becomes like a visual memory game of patterns rather than a rhythm game at 1.7x whereby the rhythm gets too sped up for rhythmical recognition @_@...
