Reviews for "Range of the Dead"

badly ported from the mobile game they made a very long time before they released the flash version. Still a good game, but im upset they didnt atleast make it not blurry.

Evil-Dog responds:

it's not a flash game, it's a unity3d game.
What part is blurry?

i acutally quite enjoyed it though if am seeing it correctly the rifle seems to fire the casing as part of the bullet

Evil-Dog responds:

yeah maybe people mentionned that lol we're gun noobs

sniping games without any battlefield strategy (like finding your own snipe location, and repositioning after a shot), generally don't interest me, as well as physics games since they don't translate well from reality to virtual, but this is actually done very well, and for that a full 5 stars from a guy who rarely ever gives 5 stars.

Evil-Dog responds:

wow that's impressive, I wouldn't expect a rarely-given fives with a such a small game hehe

uh I may have cheated :(
I hacked into the game

Evil-Dog responds:

at least you're honest

Goddamn, Evil-Dog, am I glad to see this! I loved the mobile version, but had issues with accuracy on a phone screen: there is so much more precision to be had with a mouse/touchpad. For those having issues with trajectory, note that our boy Allen is holding the gun with the stock against his left shoulder - if I'm not wrong, aiming a little right of centre will balance out the angles. It does for me, anyway.

I know you said not to compare it with Road of the Dead, but I think it's a great companion piece and side story - can't wait to see where this goes.

SickDeathFiend, superb art as always. DruoxtheShredder reprising the great vocals, there's a perfect hint of a manic tone in his voice. SoS, the music is spot on, atmospheric and both haunting and urgent. Thank you all.

Evil-Dog responds:

Glad you loved it buddy! It'S a neat bridge game to Allen's future games, Range of the Dead 2 and Trail of the Dead
