Reviews for "Range of the Dead"

Great game, love the whole dead series, can't wait for future sequels, I just have one problem, why doesn't the game save? Is it just me or is it the game, if it's the game please fix it, it really sucks and takes way too long to unlock the challenges.

Evil-Dog responds:

it does save for me, i'll investigate

Fun little shooting physics game you got here! It was a great way to kill some time.
A nit-picky comment on the rifle animation: It looks like the rifle is shooting the entire rifle cartridge (i.e. the casing with the manufacturer stampings and primer) rather than just the bullet, which would be the only thing that actually going down range when fired.

Other than that, good job and keep em' coming!

Evil-Dog responds:

Yeah some people mentionned that :D

I think he could have trained those undead like he did in lab of the dead trained them to shoot think about it they would be compleatly invisible to the agressive zombies

Evil-Dog responds:

If he could, he would have :)

Just like a well-thought-out shooting FPS with bullet drop, I find it enjoyable as much as the next guy. But I find something pretty annoying to the point where I cant play much without being frustrated: I still see my mouse, and it blocks the cursor in the game, which makes aiming at far distances absolutely near-impossible not in a challenging way but a huge pain-in-the-ass kind of way. It's like having the world's biggest eye-floater while watching a movie and you cant get it off, true you can still watch the movie, but that eye-floater will absolutely spoil and ruin it for you! Same case here, I have a mouse cursor (and like a colossal eye-floater) that blocks the in-game cursor. Is it possible that you cant make it so that when the player clicks in the game the player only see's the in-game cursor? If not, then can you please add in the description as to how the player can solve this little eye-floater-cursor thing? Unless of course I'm literally the only one who has this little problem, or do others have this case and not care? Regardless, I hope I've made some sense. Thanks.

Evil-Dog responds:

Great point, I'll see about removing the cursor while aiming

great shooting game! i'm really fond of your zombie games, they always have interesting stories, and although this is a pretty simple game, im glad you brought something story like to it. it always makes the game more interesting when it has context :) i like the physics of the sniping and although the aiming takes a bit to warm up to, it was a lot of fun and good mechanics. im certainly interested to see what happens next and what you else can do with unity! :D kudos!

Got another mobile port coming at the end of the week, called Ninja Yubi
