Reviews for "Genesis"

Poetic, simple, clearly short. I't doesn't build up into a really deep thought ending, but satisfying in a simple way.

The game was smooth and the music was nice, but there's a lack of something. The eden was described as something so colourful that we can't even imagine, and when you said the game was psychedelic, mostly i expected colors. I really didn't enjoyed it, mostly because of an all white background.

I give it half, because that's what I felt. It was okay, but not butt-tastically jawdropping. I get that it was supposed to be enigmatic, which is cool, I'm all for mysterious and analogous games, but even by those standards it remained incredibly confusing and odd. Maybe 'god' could have said something that inadvertently told you what was going on, like scolding you for spawning the black blocks and telling you why you shouldn't have done that. I also didn't totally get the Fruit of Knowledge. Is this one of those games where the supposed 'god' is using you or watching you suffer for amusement and doesn't want you to gain awareness of your demise, or is it hiding you from some truth that would hurt you yourself? All in all, I think it was a neat concept on paper, but could've been executed in a much better way. After all, you can load a cart with as much awesome stuff as you want, but as long as you try to pull that cart with a three legged rat it's not going anywhere.

i was expecting more and thought ill understand it but.. really did not.

pretty meh.
