I don't understand this webcomic/webseries story

I don't know, I guess this highly proclaimed series just isn't for me. The only thing I like about this is the artwork that took a lot of work. The voice acting was almost monotone and out of place, the pace was slow, the plot really doesn't move around, and at the end of the day, I really have no idea what I just watched.
Did someone leave? It seems that this one was rushed. I have seen your other work and this piece pales in comparison. Everything was lower quality then the others, especially the voice acting. I would rather wait a long time for a video and see it complete then wait a short time for something half-finished. Take as much time as you need to make these, don't rush.
