Reviews for "Bunker Down 2030"

Interesting concept. It's a little simple, but that sort of thing does work well on phones. This is a good setting for the year 2030!

Maybe try to play more with random occurrences and develop your art style a bit more in the future. Solid effort!

Some of the events impose penalties that are both petty and confusing. For example, a TV breaks. -8 Mechanical!? Why!? How does maintenance of the TV equate to plumbing, or lighting, which is necessary for plant growth? Or have I been maintaining a TV the entire fucking time? If you're going to justify that, you can at least divide Mechanical into plumbing, electrical, and TV. Because THAT would still make sense. By then, I was already knee-deep in shit and starving, if the status of my resources were anything to go by.

Either the penalties imposed aren't reflected correctly in the text, or there's a legend for rations that just isn't displayed. Otherwise, here's how I should read the subtle implications of the following scenario I encountered: When a woman and her child ask for 2 Food, and I have 4, and I agree to give her 2 food, but when I click "YES", my Food bar gets depleted. She takes all my Food! Why!? I thought you wanted half!

KoberGirl responds:

Sorry I frustrated you. You are right of course, you can't really compare the TV going out to plumbing or electric issues. I was just trying to make my Survivors a bit quirky and they would spend tons of time trying to fix the TV to get their FOX News back.
The woman did not take all your food. If you say yes, she will take 2 but you need 4 for your group too so it will take 6 food that turn. There is a 20% chance that even if you choose to feed the woman and her child, she will pull a gun on you and take more. You may have got the bad random result. Thanks for the comments though. I appreciate them.

whos idea was it to make a bunker which only holds enough food for 2 weeks? Okay for a starter game though

It seems like a general concept, however I feel theres one problem
The difficulty curve is
1. Unstemable
2. Unbearable
3. Outrageous
No matter what you do, there is always an event that seems to take all of your resources
This would be okay, if your people had a way to keep the resources up there
But since you have to input 2 into one resource in order to even TRY to keep up with the demands, that doesn't leave much else
And there is no way to improve it either, for you are stuck with just the four survivors
If there was a way to increase survivors, I would rate it much higher

KoberGirl responds:

The more survivors you put on the same floor the more resources you generate. It is about staving of the inevitable. But I agree and hope to build on the foundation gameplay I have and work on more features like upgrades to the bunker and recruiting new workers. Thanks for the feedack!

coufusing i add a person then they're gone WTF

KoberGirl responds:

I haven't seen that bug before. When you click on a job, if you have a survivor left to place, they should appear. If you click on them again, they will disappear so you can reassign them. Is it possible you are double clicking? Or perhaps the mouse/touch sensitivity is too high and is triggering 2 clicks/touches instead of one. I'm so sorry it isn't playing properly for you. What browser are you using? Maybe if you can explain what's happening I can fix the problem.
