Nice Megaman clone. It is hard, but that's not a bad thing. It follows all the Megaman design rules it should. I did find a repeated bug in the Laser Bot stage, though. I fought my way up to the boss, died, and on respawn (just outside the boss room) my sprite was stuck outside the screen somewhere. I could hear myself jump and shoot, so I was somewhere, but nowhere visible on the screen. This happened twice in a row, so I don't know if its just me or a bug in the game, but I hope it can get fixed.
this a very hard game, but very good. :-)
Whew. Lotso bugs. I also had the glitch vs. Laser in where my character did not appear, and no buttons but menu seemed to have effect on the screen. Also had issue on Bomb, where the character stepped through the ledge to their death while walking.
Also agree the boss select screen is a wasted opportunity to have a classic circle.
Its got good to decent sprites, and as usual. you put some clever hazards. Love the oil pits in the fire stage and the falling decorative swords.
I see two sides:
The one is nostalgia and megaman-ish gameplay,
The other is shitty music and lots of bugs, and I personally did not like of charging the bust......ermmmm....blaster, it's weak and ruining the nostalgia effect.
So I give you stars only out of nostalgic effect.
