So cute! Fairly simple, but still quite fun! I'd love to see this expanded in a sequel. diagonal movement would have been good. Maybe a multiplayer version where you race your friend to get the most fish or something!
For such a short game, this is pretty nice and feel-good. However, two things are rather strange. First, what was the Kraken doing in Sweet Fish Lake? I presumed this since there's no way the Father and his daughter could've gone out in deeper waters because of the limitations of the Father's boat (i.e. the one the daughter starts out in). Second, what is with the ruined buildings in the area near the Kraken's lair? It's if as if a group of people once dwelt there and then simply abandoned their dwellings, perhaps because of either the cold and/or the Kraken itself. Asides from these unaddressed aspects, the game is very sweet and has shown that you put in some great effort towards it. I sincerely hope that you wind up making a Fishy Waters 2. That would be great in my opinion.
It was a very cute game with a nice story. I still feel there's room for more content though
