Reviews for "Spiderling"

Cute game. Mechanics were simple - A lot less frustrating than other string games - yet, the puzzle were challenging enough to keep me entertained.

Great graphics with nice small details. The music was minimalist, but fitting.

I would have liked to have more challenging jump-puzzles or switch-puzzles, but overall, this game was very enjoyable. Not sure how the storyline would permit it, but I'd definitely play a sequel.

The game feels to short for a very well game design, you should make a second part or something.

I can't understand why this game has (for now, at least) such an average score...

In my opinion the graphic is absolutely beautiful, rich of small details and a loveable character design, I felt in love with those two little insect-buddies!

Music is very relaxing, and fits very well with the rhythm of the game; sound effects were fine as well!

The gameplay was something new to me and I'll be honest: I've got frustrated two, maybe three times due to the difficulty I had handling the game phisics while using the web; still, the checkpoints are not too far one from the other and you went so creative with this original mechanic (I loved the button puzzles and the dark section), that I just had to keep playing, no matter how irritating some spots were.

Overall, I think this game is incredibly well done, pretty original and creative, yet has some quite difficult spots which may lead to frutration.
Still, WAY more than 3 stars if you ask me.

I really hope you're gonna make a sequel, I really want to know what's going to happen to those two cute things!

You have a great premise hear, but the playability with the controls and the string are awful.

This game had everything to be awesome : great mechanics, maniability, atmosphere... Then I lost all my progression because of a weird glitch : I reached the room after the one where a rock is rolling behind you, and I wanted to play with a frog in there, but it escaped. So I went in the next room to come back and making the frog respawn, but the next room triggered a dialog sequence (i think). I was holding the right button, so I could come back in the previous room DURING the dialog sequence and it teleported me in the wall of the first room of the game, and saved here...
