Reviews for "Idle Planet"

This is like Cookie Clicker.

It's an awesome idea, but it's not very well executed. An explanation would help LOTS--also, there had to have been another idea on how to get points besides clicking.

Hi i made an Update with a Help-Button

Ok game, nothing special.

A few recommendations to really help improve the game...
1. Built in Zoom. As is, zooming in and out using your browser's zoom function is all you can do, and that isn't exactly convenient due to how it zooms everything, not just in for more detail on the planet.
2. More powerful control. This feels like this is supposed to be a "god-like" game where you take the role of god, yet even the most basic elevation terraforming is beyond you. Some basic temperature manipulation would also be nice, even if you restrict it to a range around the base value.
3. More varied landmasses. Having them be mostly based on circles/cones restricts the shape of the land a bit, and results in way too many perfectly circular islands in the ocean (even if the continents are a little better off, they still tend to have coastlines that are too rounded as well).
4 Just something to faintly help the planet feel "more alive" would be be a rotation for it when you are not holding your mouse over it. It would make it feel a hell of a lot less static if it rotated on its own.
5. Finally, optimization+faintly better graphics. It is pretty laggy, even on my very powerful computer. Should also make the background "stars" have a bit more variety. Having them all be white and static just makes look dull (you can count this under 4 as well. Having the background starfield move slowly against the rotation of the planet would again help things feel a lot less static).

Potential is there, but you have a lot of things to boost for it to end up actually being good.

a better explanation on what you're suppose to do would improve the score of the game but as it stands there is really no clue on how to increase points gained while keeping the game idle.

Hi, i made a Help-Button that explains, if you upgrade the Fields like for example Water, you get Points for every Waterfield.

like the idea of it, but so much clicking. there needs to be an easier way
