Reviews for "Dead Zed 2"

This is a gigantic disappointment compared to the first game.

a.) You killed the atmosphere with the music alone (the first one's wasn't much better). Try putting in some creepy music.

b.) You have limited and useless "upgrades". Try to incorporate the night factor more, and in different ways.

c.) With regards to weapons, once you get to something like the AK, the game becomes a total joke. You need to balance weapons better, and add some different types in (scopes, snipers, grenades, etc.)

d.) The difficulty was super easy in this one. The first game was harder, but not in a good way (just spamming explosives).

Overall, you're one of the few authors who makes great zombie games. I only hope you heed some of the things people post here, because it seems like you're going downhill in terms of quality.

It's OK. But I've seen better, and also this type of game isn't quite 'original'....
1st off, the guns. Certain guns like rifles, bows, etc. are pretty cool, although the recoil is horrible.
2nd off, the quality of the game. It looks decent, but lots of lag spikes for random reasons.
3rd: Zombies. Yes, the zombies. Whenever you reach a lag spike, they move almost 75% over the map. It get's ridiculous, especially with hordes.
Lastly, the 'usefulness' of the survivors. When I used them, I noticed that even though you'd have high percentage stats for each role, I'd end up losing my survivors in a round or two for random reason. Also, I'd have them search but they would get NOTHING. It's ridiculous.

I tried the first few rounds of the game and noticed something. It seems like a fun game, the concept is pretty cool, the play is nice however the aiming is very off even at close range with the head in the center of the circle the rounds fly to very random spots on the map. Sort that out and you could have a killer game.

A fun game - very "Last Stand"-ish. Major problem, though - it gets really repetitive. There's no sense of progression and the only development over time is (1) more zombies and (2) very occasionally, new weapons that are more or less like the old weapons. It starts to get tedious.

Other problem - though maybe it's just me - the difficulty for searches seems to ramp up rather suddenly. At one point, I had about 45% chance of detection and 85% chance of survival for the search party. But they still died. And then every search party afterwards, no matter what the percentages, I'd lose at least one survivor, and I'd find increasingly less and less in return. So ... between those two problems, the initial fun (and it was pretty fun, because I really like this type of game) just died.

Won't let me buy the stronger barricades!!!!!
