Reviews for "Day X"

the 4th part`s the hardest

rottenmage responds:

Hope you cleared it. Thanks for playing.

Interesting. Not the greatest, the controls were stiff and the enemies hard to kill due to their random pacing and your inability to aim, but the concept was cool. Good job!

rottenmage responds:

Thank you for playing!

Well this game was easy and short l the final boss was Easy and the game for the most part was killing enemies while in ''Don't Look Back'' it was more about skill and speed and the variety of enemies in ''Don't Look Back'' was good. The final boss is easy and is just like a enemy from ''Don't Look Back'' it's even funny how easy the boss is. The only good parts were the first 3 the game gets linear after that. The music is average. l was expecting more from a game based on one of the most hard games in newgrounds. Take my 2.5 stars you could have done better if you worked harder and improved the game l might had given you a 3.5 however it's a 48 hours game so l can't bash it very much. Sorry for my bad english i'm from norway.

rottenmage responds:

Thank you for playing. We wanted to create an epic version of the boss but toward the end of 48 hrs, we did not have enough mana to continue on. Thanks for liking the starting part, that was when we had most juice. Hope we could produce a longer version in the future for you to try.

i fail to see every ones problem with this game. it was a tad boring, but the boss and the monsters where easy. literally a walk in the park.

rottenmage responds:

Thank you! Hopefully a longer version with more build up would be better. It is hard to balance a "story" with action fearing that it might lose the vibe.

i have spent the last 5 minutes trying to get past the fucking lightning bolts. i am done wasting my time. i have no need to proceed with the story since i couldn't care any less than i do right now.

rottenmage responds:

We hope to create a more progressive version in the future which would be more reasonable. Thanks for playing.
