Reviews for "Bosses Forever 2.bro"

This game was... very hard, I only got to the seventh boss, but I can see that it was really well made, especially the design and the music, and also the boss random attackpatern generator, I'm looking forward to see more stuff from you!

TooDX responds:

Thank you Pepe! If the game felt hard to you, it's because you rock! He gets stronger faster if you do well. 7 is a legit first run score - I bet if you play again you can reach the mid-teens easily :).

Nickelpunk did our awesome music (both the main and hidden track) - he's a great guy, you should check out his stuff! I'll let him know you liked the score!

Not to hard and not to easy I love it.

technerd8007 that's good to hear - we were shooting for challenging but not old-school nintendo hard

this is not at all a bad game. the main problems i had were the facts that the graphics got repetitive and there wasn't enough variation in the levels. However, the game itself was fun. If you add a sequel, I would recommend adding things like different player models, abilities, classes, more perks to increase like speed or jump height. the game by itself is very fun and has tons of potential, but it got too repetitive and old looking at the same textures and arena. there is lots of other things you could as as well, maybe powerups, mounts, minions, etc. either way, keep up the good work!

Difficulty felt pretty much the same, until it tripled on one level. Difficulty ramp wasn't sufficient. I would love to get new bullets, with cool capabilities such as rebound etc. But over all fun. 4/5

Was quite entertaining until I hit boss 11, who directly teleported into me on his very first teleportĀ before he'd shown any kind of pattern, doing undodgeable damage. I still had full health by that point so it wasn'tĀ game over (I lasted until 17), but that was pretty silly and made me not want to go for a second run. Make the teleport take a little while to fade in so the player can actually dodge it; undodgeable attacks in a game with limited health make for luck-based gameplay.

Other than that hitting one of my pet peeves and soaking the fun out of it for me, everything else was quite well done. Might try the 2-player experience at some point.

TooDX responds:

The teleport pattern generally tends to run to this as an attack - constantly moving dodges it. 17 is a good run sir! Thank you for playing, glad you were enjoying
