Reviews for "Painters Guild (Alpha)"

Pretty good game, somewhat addictive, but there are random game overs which I dislike. For example, I had been accused of homosexual relationships with XXXXXX XXXXXX and I just was at skill/speed 60, couldnt even reach to Andrea's skill/speed. Yet its pretty good, no glitches or stuff like that, one of the cons about the timer, is that sometimes you complete a painting but the times ran out just a milisecond before finishing it. 4.5/5

I really enjoyed playing this and I sincerely hope you get greenlit. I've knocked off half a star though, but that's because of just a few minor issues that perhaps you could think about tweaking.
I feel that the increase each year is a little bit too steep as it goes on and it doesn't give much time or spare money to be able to buy things to help out the workshop such as better chairs and so on.
Additionally, I didn't really know how to (or even if you could) sell furniture and items that you no longer needed, which meant that I was dumping chairs and couches all over the place once I'd upgraded.

And I agree with killer6531 in that prestige should have a greater impact on the patience of clients.
As the old saying goes, "You can have it fast, good, or cheap, but you can only have two".

In conclusion, I can't wait to see the final product and I hope you're proud of what you've accomplished so far. It's a great little time killer!

Very good, I enjoyed playing this. I know it is only a first alpha but I felt it needed more, perhaps I'm just eager for the Sandbox mode. I love all of the history that occurs as you play the game, it's nice to have the time to read it as it pauses the game giving you the chance. Can't wait for the next one.

I love little pixel games in this style, and I loved seeing all the little pixel paintings. Maybe add some other little decorations that increase customer wait time/increase prestige/etc? (I noticed you mentioned this on the Steam page, but you should consider adding bonuses to certain items if you haven't. xD) That's really all I got, I'd love to see this as a fleshed out game. :D

Good game but quick question... can you sell back furniture?
