Reviews for "Painters Guild (Alpha)"

A more rigorous tutorial would be greatly appreciated.

I really enjoyed playing this and I sincerely hope you get greenlit. I've knocked off half a star though, but that's because of just a few minor issues that perhaps you could think about tweaking.
I feel that the increase each year is a little bit too steep as it goes on and it doesn't give much time or spare money to be able to buy things to help out the workshop such as better chairs and so on.
Additionally, I didn't really know how to (or even if you could) sell furniture and items that you no longer needed, which meant that I was dumping chairs and couches all over the place once I'd upgraded.

And I agree with killer6531 in that prestige should have a greater impact on the patience of clients.
As the old saying goes, "You can have it fast, good, or cheap, but you can only have two".

In conclusion, I can't wait to see the final product and I hope you're proud of what you've accomplished so far. It's a great little time killer!

Bug alert!!! The game accused me of sodomy but didn't let me watch!!!!

Great game, I will defiantly be buying it when it comes out on steam. Here's a little suggestion for the full game: Add more stories to the house & more painters that come to you to work under your view and allow you to micromanage it all. (A "slow down" or time stop feature would be greatly helpful if you did that, although it would add to the difficulty if you didn't.) Some more ideas you could do is that you gain stats in the full game from going and painting a hard painting, also some 2+ tile paintings would be very nice in the game too, you could go and also make prestige in the full game decide how patient or inpatient people will be with you and how good of the work they expect from your shop and the better they will pay you for fine work. You can go and also have people of royalty that will come to your shop that will require perfect art in the full game and if you did it correctly they would lower your rent while on the other part of the spectrum if you fail it they will increase your rent, to go with the old age-ish style of the game. On a final note, please allow a "freeplay" mode in the game on full release. What I mean by "freeplay" is no rent and you can go on in the game as long as you wish. That is all that I have to say for now, fantastic game and I am looking forward to the full release, I encourage all those who have not already green-lit the game to do so, even if you do not plan on buying it, as it is a spectacular game.

This game has great potential. Will wait for the finished version. Keep it up!
