Reviews for "The Abandoned Platformer"

You should finish it, regardless of whether it is well received or not. The question is, can you
do it?
Start with better collision response, then make some more interesting levels. Lose the pills unless you find a way of incorporating them into the game, right now they are useless.

TeamToastedT0ast responds:

Totally agree, the pills are useless right now but they could be interesting if they were used in puzzles (eg. jump into pit of spikes to grab key, rewind time behind actually hitting the spikes)

It's a platformer. It works; there's also not that much unique to it. So...middle of the road 2.5/5. Like to see what you intended to do with it though.

TeamToastedT0ast responds:

It was just intended to be a game where you travel through various 'worlds' within your mind. Each world would have it's own mechanic unique to itself (eg. stay by fires to avoid freezing to death in the snow worlds)

It'd be a cool game, but it's unfinished (and too short because of it), has many bugs what is annoying.
Improve it! Place more abilities, maybe enemies. The "rewinding time" skill should be chargeable by the time. I'm waiting for the complete game!

This game sucks i put 'blam this piece of crap' when i rated it so plz,
make a diffrent game or improve this 'cause WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU MAKE SOETHING THAT IS SO TERIBLE...UNFINISHED...WILL MOST LIKELY GIVE YOUR COMPUTER BUGS...AND LAGS ALL THE TIME!!??
You cannot say you didn't see this coming, you cant say you thought people would like this, and you can't say you thought/think this is good.

TeamToastedT0ast responds:

I agree, but you gotta remember it was abandoned early so we never got to optimize the game to fix bugs and lag. My expectations were low but so far the reception has actually been a lot better than I thought.

...an average of 3/5 ain't too bad for me.

You should have waited until you had a game instead of a bug ridden demo wannabe before you released.

This seems like it could be really awesome if any amount of actual effort were put toward it.
