Reviews for "The Abandoned Platformer"
I got the impression that the time reverse pill could have made a really interesting mechanic if you had developed the game more, and that it would have really stood out if you used that well enough. For what you have made there isn't really anything new or exciting, though the engine seems fairly solid and consistent.

True, now that I think about it I kinda regret not putting in at least one puzzle that requires the use of the time pills, one idea I had was where the player would have to jump into a pit a spikes to grab a key but reverse time so he wouldn't fall into the spikes.
The game is okay. It's not great. I understand it is still at an early stage. So here is what I think you should add. The background is kind of boring. I know that really isn't important, but I really think you should make it interesting. Add new and unique abilities. The rewind should stay, but add something that separates this game from the rest. The rewind ability is not something new to games. Overall it is a pretty good game. Better than anything I can make, just me if you saw what I've attempted to make, you would know why I stick to reviews.

Thanks, I totally agree with the new abilities thing, I guess gamers have sort of got used to rewinding time since so many games started doing it...
You should finish it, regardless of whether it is well received or not. The question is, can you
do it?
Start with better collision response, then make some more interesting levels. Lose the pills unless you find a way of incorporating them into the game, right now they are useless.

Totally agree, the pills are useless right now but they could be interesting if they were used in puzzles (eg. jump into pit of spikes to grab key, rewind time behind actually hitting the spikes)

This game's ok. Its's at least playable and the concept is cool.(even if it is just braid without the puzzle aspect)The platforming can be Way too percise however and it runs poorly.
Overall a nice time killer but you probably won't have an amazing time playing it.
