I hate saying this because I try really hard not to judge this kind of thing, but Asshole Mario didn't really need a preachy message. Especially not one that gets fumbled this hard.
Being frustrated with a disability and the difficulties that come with it is not the same as being so incompetent you'd kill yourself by accident. Real disabilities mean finding ways to cope, finding ways to get around the problems you can't wholly avoid, not forcing yourself to do things the able-bodied way no matter how difficult they are.
I gave up on playing this because, having a disability myself, I didn't really appreciate having a game tell me that it's wrong for people to say I'm a useless, incompetent burden when I am actually playing a useless, incompetent burden.
Im done, i really tried but im done. A game like this needs airtight controls and some margin of error to allow you to account for and correct mistakes caused by your disability(especially the spastic one which makes the game virtually unplayable in some areas). And I get that you were aiming to make people feeling hampered by these disabilities but you did this to the exclusion of making a game that was either fun or engaging to play.
Additionally the sounds are just terrible, the explosion sounds just make me cringe and the actual music does nothing to heighten emotion or excite the player, its just annoying.
I feel the only reason this is scored as high as it is that people like the basic concept and aren't willing ot be harsher based on the actual quality of the game.
Basically this game some better music and sound effects, tighten the controls or atleast make the blocks and jump spaces larger and do something about the segments that auto kill you because spastic makes you suddenly jump with no control.
tl/dr: Interesting concept, bad execution, do better next time
I found this to be extremely frustrating in a very un-fun kind of way. Would not play again. The difficulty is not even because the stages are challenging. It's because the game just straight screws you for no apparent reason frequently. That isn't a fun kind of hard.
