I just stopped playing for a minute to let you know that this is now easily in my top 10 favorite new games on NG. All my 5, etc. I admit the game is easy (If you get 4-5 in Attack and Firerate you basically have already won.
To my surprise, I did die once but it just let me re-roll. I haven't seen any, but you should consider a GAME OVER/Continue screen. That way, with 101 bosses to fight, you don't just fly in, press Z, and spam Space until the robot is defeated.
Finally, two last things: 1. Please make a sequel. But please don't stray too far from how this game is made, it's just so good. 2. Please add medals haha :]

I made it to sector 7 so far, but am still playing it because it's just such a fun game.

Awesome game, the dialogue is the best part about it, but the gameplay is also fun.
One thing about the weapon boosts; the stone fist is BY FAR the greatest, while the rest are generally worse than standart weapon (slower fire rate, less power...) ¿Perhaps they should be balanced?

Thank you so much and yah - I agree the Fist is sooooo dang good! The other weapons, though they do get upgraded can seem feeble later in the game! HAHAHA! Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed it! I'm working on a sequel and it will have many of the things people are looking for. I thought about a Boss 101 redo but that would be a bit of work due to the way it's coded. Finished the game. It was awesome. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the under-developed character we played. I would be happier if I could choose from different guns for example, or if there was a bit more decision making involved when purchasing upgrades. Also, boss fights did get repetitive after a while and I would suggest that in the sequel, the different weapons, heads, bodies etc. that bosses have will greatly change the tactics against bosses. One thing I must point out that I really enjoyed were the dialogs. Nonetheless, this game is definitely a 5 starer.

Great stuff and yah - I think you will be VERY happy with the way we are shaping up the sequel! it has a lot of what you are talking about and more. More weapons (that matter) and more strategy in the boss fighter. We're keeping the humor intact though! Check out my blog here for updates!
