i mean really, if there was a god, why would he do that? religion is just something used to scare people into giving money to a corrupt organization. i am really amazed that this didnt get slammed across the map with bad reviews, seing how many religious pussies we have here. i guess it just makes so much sense that even the fanatics question their own faith.

The only flaw in your theory (not a fare fetched one either) is there is no mention of a 'hell'(fire filled torture pits of screaming sinned souls) in the Bible. Sure it metioned sheol, the comman grave for humans, and hades, the lake of fire and sulfur where everything is consumed and totally destroyed(not to be mixed up the idea of everlasting destruction/torture)
In my own words, God got rid of all those people (man, woman and child) because they were too busy having fun to listen to God. If it's one thing God hates and that's independant thrill seekers...I mean, just look at all the crap that the Israelites went through. It just goes to show getting totally f*cked over for doing the right thing will prove your obidience to God...hey, there might be some ultimate grand prize at the end of the road...thats what I'm hoping for.

Yeah that seems about right to me, some supreme being deciding the fates of billions of people, some of them not even born yet, but he's more than happy to let the bible thumpers live. Sounds like Genocide to me really, the movie was good but that's basically it, the christian god genocided an entire race of people except for one family, and that would really be rubbing out the entire human race because one family isn't enough genetic diversity to start another human race.
