Reviews for "Ancient Cosmos"

When the Pope show up I lost it xD Delightful work!

Amazing. I have nothing more to say.

feels like a cutscene straight from "Out Of This World"

loved it

genius! let me hug you

First, I must ask you to forgive me for suggesting to compress this in that thread. I overlooked you before (like most of NG submissions) and was clueless that you're making pixel videos, where compressions will lead to a disaster (pixel disaster).

Second, I'd like to praise your artistic talents: technical art (pistols, cars), characters (the faces, hands, clothes, proportions), coloring (highlights/shadows, wrinkles, very careful use of outlines). I see you have animating potential, but I'd like to note that solely the ability to draw objects from different angles and playing with the strength of highlights are not enough to animate. Although, in your particular style I think this level of animation is enough, and, honestly, I can't imagine a better fitting kind of animation for it. There's some feel... from past times... I was not even born back then, but I can sense it.

Third, I notice how you blatantly overuse the same trick when you gradually increase the highlights. I mean, it looks good and all that, but you do it way too much.

Conclusion: I can't make conclusion. I HATE ending something. Grrrr 5/5

Hey thanks, You know what you are talking about thats for sure. To be honest I don't know anything about animation, I am totally self taught, I am just slowly working on my skills. Yes I know what you mean about the highlights to a degree, I think I use these animations as a form of practice so that may show up on screen The animation I am working on at the moment has a lot of lighting in it but the lighting is more dynamic, so moving light. I really appreciate the constructive feedback, it does confirm things I am thinking myself.
