A very good watch. Thoroughly enjoyed the story and, boy, did I feel for the guy as he was being "worked on" by the scientist that whole time. I have to say, having done a lot of sprite work myself, the pixel art throughout this animation is expertly done. It must have taken a lot of time and effort so my kudos to you for that.
I hope to see more animations like this in the future. Once again, very nice job!
Religious/aliens/science debate aside, the animation is very interesting. I wasn't sure what to expect and every few seconds had a new turn to it. The style reminded me of Tron in a strange way, the facial expressions were very unique, and the sounds/music fit in perfectly. I would like to see more in this style (but not a sequel!)

Oh I get it - the church are a bunch of sick aliens, who've come to kill us all.That's why i belive in SICENCE.Okay, sh*t aside.I actually enjoyed this(well, it IS a front page submission but still...the DONG!?).Animation was pixelated which by itself has the potential to anny me to death but you pulled it off...surprisingly.The sound was well...i'd say 80% because of no voice acting(nothing's prefect).It didn't lag on my pc, so a star there.I don't know if there's a "deeper" meaning but if there was - why would the scientist work FOR the pope?Even be worshipping him?No, science is the opposite if religion - it WATNS to be questioned(religion doesn't want that - it hates it).I also didn't get why would the scientist blow up the human's head and leave him with nothing but a brain and a tube with some life sustaining liquid.The brain should die there and the bleeding - that's no scientist.Oh, and what's that octo-alien(?) doing in there just smoking?And the (okay) reasearcher leaves his work undone.I also liked the souls, being attracted to the pope but answear those questions and it will be even better.

ught about the whole science and religion thing, my original idea did involve a lot of eastern european pseudo science though.
