Let me tell you, from alot of Games I played over the years, this one stands out in simplicity and instinctive play. It is just fun to play. I hadn't much trouble with the companion AI, it required a little observation to understand how and when they move, but I actually managed to get them from harms way. Only Survivors I wasn't able to save were the two in the Boss-Level. They jumped around like crazy, even though I stood perfectly still, unloading my flamethrower (which ignores the wall above you) on the UFO. Either way...
Well executed, I'm gonna play the second part now. Keep it up!

I'm really glad you enjoyed it! Saving the survivors at the boss level is really tricky and even I struggle to do it, but I've managed to do so a few times. You kinda have to lead them back and forth constantly so that the UFO's laser do not touch them, but yeah, it's very tricky and those survivors can be so stupid sometimes. Anyway, thanks for the review and the high score! Much appreciated :)
It's too bad you didn't include any secret achievements. Oh well.
Overall it's pretty basic. Decent, but nothing groundbreaking. It would've been nice if the survivors were not so eager to run into enemy fire. Or regular fire. Or mines. Or in general. Also would've been better to have the player character stand out somehow. I kept losing myself between the other two survivors on each level to the point where I started clearing out the aliens BEFORE searching for them.

Thanks for the feedback! I improved the survivors A.I a lot in Earth Taken 2. They were quite a challenge to do, since it was the first time I ever made companions like these. I guess I thought that making the main character having a red shirt will make him stand out enough. Companions never wear red shirts, but maybe I could have made him stand out even more somehow.
