Reviews for "Socrates Jones: Pro Philo"

As everyone has pointed out, this game was amazing. Applying the Phoenix Wright formula to philosophy actually makes more sense than applying it to law. It was very exciting to debate philosophy, and it was also much more educational than trying to read philosophy (especially Kant). The visuals were great, especially the designs of Ariadne, the Arbiter, and the protagonist. Music was sweet. Everything is good.

I hope you make more of these, but I'm afraid they'd all end in the same conclusion as this game did. Still, it'd be fun to do this over with various branches of metaphysics.

I just love this game, I played it the first time it was submited and then I was scared when I see the game disappear, but is good to see it again submited by the real makers.

And for ElectricBlueMax, with all respect, but NONSENSE!, although is impossible (maybe) to prove the gods existence, it's impossible to prove the contrary too, so Socrates in conceding the idea of their existence to evaluate the consistency of Eutifrón arguments, and accepting this, we have ways to know what they command, like oracles or the Bible, so even if it may be hard to know in which the gods agree, it doesn't exclude them as the source of morality.

By this, I don't think what you say is a counterpoint of Eutifrón's ideas, or what dou you think?

I really, really like this game.

Excellent though imperfect: too many logical flaws. In many cases, the presentation included something which could not be backed up (i.e., the answer given could not be backed up either). Nonetheless, as imperfect as it is, it's excellent. Though more perfect would have been much better!

Not only did i enjoy the game i learned a lot. This game may have been inaccurate about some philosophers but as the game says nothing is perfect but it doesn't mean we should stop attaining perfection. :)

Very nice :D
