Reviews for "Rise"

It's a game that makes you know you're doing the same thing over and over. It's just bland. That's the only way I can put it. There's no thrill, no imagination, no sense of accomplishment. You fight the same three or four enemies for fifty floors it seems, and then you get a new, tougher set of enemies. This is where a sense of accomplishment should come in, you've made it to a new level. But you're stuck with the same gear, the same stats. You're no better than where you were last level, and that's the key problem. Even if you were to forget about improved gear, improved stats should be regular. If I had difficulty fighting the lower enemies, how can I progress on stronger enemies? I'm slaughtered before I get a chance because the only way I can make my self better is by hoping and praying that I randomly get the veteran and I have the money to upgrade the stats that will make a difference. This is one change that could have made a significant difference in the game.

Beat it first time through with the monk. All of his attacks were pretty useless besides the one that does 200% dmg. The CEO never hit me once.

i normally love youre games but this one its just not as great as the rest of them, still looking forward to see more work of yours.

This gets old quickly, there is no real point, you just click the same skill 3-4 times for each enemy get 8 gold and continue. There is no progression at all.

I agree with Berder, that's a pretty stupid system, all told. If there is no way to recharge, then the wizard is pretty much useless. A class shouldn't have to rely on luck to get by.

Hyptosis responds:

The wizard also has the highest chance to hit in the game, it's actually the easier class to be the game with. I did it without dying on my first time. No big deal though. You don't have to like it.
