I was trying to open the eighth locked thing in a row, when suddenly, as my attention drifted, I was attacked by a snake creature. I wasn't really sure what had happened, and didn't really know what to do, so my face got bitten off. I had a lot of fun jamming to the death screen music, though! In any case, this game is interesting, and I really like the idea of screens that "come into focus" rather than just appear. It was stylistically interesting, and I feel like the hand-drawn look could be applied in a really cool way if it's done in a sharper, more detailed way. I'm excited to see where you go from here! The graphics could be improved.
"here it is in all its crappy glory" This is far from a lie. I feel like you could do better even if you missed your GCSE project window I think you should go back and finish this up. It will never be the next NG hit but it can be a good minimalistic game with a little spit and polish.
