Reviews for "DJ Sash - Goodbye"

Nice Beats Man!

Thanks for checking out my audio man. I so i shall do for you the same. The pace of this track was good (nice and fast!). I didnt like the guy talking in the background (that was very annoying!) If you do re-make this song get rip of that guy talking. He made the song sound so bad. That woman singing was really nice (she has a great voice!). You should really make songs for a living dude. How old are you by the way? Coz for a guy to make something that professional he must have age potential of about 21. Im surprised your not really famous on newgrounds for this amazing audio. I will tell lots of people about you and get you a lot of fans and credit for making this amazing audio. Do you have a myspace by the way because my band has one now and i was wondering if we could be Myspace Buddies maybe? Anyway you will have a fanbase pretty soon and i cant wait to see your music videos on MTV soon. Enjoy the fame and glory of being famous (i guess that why they call it famous because you have fame, Duh!) The other thing is that this song seemed like it never ended. How long is this thing? Anyway good luck with future audio submission and good luck with Doing club Dj'ing.

Thanks for your vote, Saint-Anger! You voted 5 for DNJB - Back 2 School, raising its score from 3.95 to 4.00.

Rave4Yourself responds:

First of all, thank you very much for the very long review, it's very satisfying. :D

Alright, on with the response. Thanks man, it was difficult to come up with this crap, sooo hard. Its a style called "happy hardcore", and i've been trying to make a proper track/song according to that style ("A sample of happy hardcore" is the best i did, :P) but it never came out right. Then I started this track, around 12 o clock AM in the cosiness of my sister's room (its the one with the **working** computer, lol) and, lol, funny thing, before i even opened FL, i had a liter of Vault Energy soda drink next to me, it was like 1/3 full, but dang, it sure pumped me up and really gave me a boost and the confidence and energy to make this.

I started making this song around 12 AM, finished around 6. Nonstop. Dunno about you, but thats FRIKKIN' INSANE on my watch, :P But im glad this song is getting the attention it truly deserves. :D Thanks for all the nice comments about it too.

I'm 16 by the way, lol. How about you? Oh and i do in fact have a myspace. www.myspace.com/sashman15

I like the guy's voice, lol, and at the time that i made this song, i really didnt know what i was doing, here and there. :P

Lol, DJing? I wish. I dont know about being a DJ, i mean, im a christian and if DJing involves lots of sex and drugs (not to mention death, lol) then i dont want to get involved. I'd rather just make awesome traxx in the comfort of my own home, lol.

Anyway, so you liked this? Man, i figured maybe you'd say the vocals were a bit off. I put those random vocals in the beginning because 1. i liked them, lol. 2. they seemed to fit with my song quite a good bit, 3. i needed to fill up the spaces where the usual NGer would be like "ew, this audio is so gay!11 y not make sum bettr traks leik mine.", :P

Lol, did you notice the end? When the black guy vox are like "da** da** da** da** da** that made my day", LOL. the real vox say "da** that DJ made my day". lol. man, i love the ending, lol. but ya, those vox are annoying sometimes. I dunno, at first i was just gonna leave them in there, but then i found some nice girl vox i had, and i was like "whoa.... i should try and actually use those CORRECTLY this time", lol.

Anyway, im tired, lol. ima take a nap soon maybe. btw, do you have msn? mine is sashman14@hotmai.com, really looking forward to talking to ya, XD

btw, i've got a VERY high-energy track in the making. No sarcasm, lol. its packed with 303 acid and then a huge climax is supposed to come in, when the listener least expects it, lol.

anyway, im out, thanks for the review man, :D

God Bless.

WOW!

hmm, only a mouth full of energy drink. That was good, great, beautiful... but not what I call a hit. See, if you really want to make a hit, study the songs out there(The fruit by Sander Kleinenberg is a fav), sure you do way better than them in some areas but in others you are lacking (I think you'll reach it). You have to have more diversity, and make those melodys stand out more, don't make them original, make them unique.

I loved the song, it sounds like the vox kinda ruined it, but also it made the song, near the end when the woman sung softly et clearly was amazing a really opened my ears. Get an actually singer, and make them sing someting catchy and repeatative.

Seriously, it was perfect for what it was, no one could do it better.

Rave4Yourself responds:

Lol, yeah! Think about if it were an entire 2 liter!!! HOH HOH HOH, that'd be SWEEEEEEEET, ;D

K thanks for the tip/s man, I'll think about what you said. The vox did sort of ruin it, but whatever! :P If you want i can send a non-voxed version, I think it'd sound better, lol.

very nice

This has great vocals...are they sampled? this could do with a bit of a break in it since all the way it hard hitting :P
good job

Rave4Yourself responds:

Ya samples from some site. I need real vox though, lol.

There WAS a break, i think, lol.

O wait, nvm, that was in Future Dimension, the 4 second long string break, :P

Thanks man, :D

Nice Sasha

Sasha, nicely done. This is a good song and i enjoyed listening to it.

Several comments though. First, i wouldn't have put both the vocals of the guy and the girl into this song. The vocals for both of them are two different styles. When i heard the guy in the intro i was expecting a deeper and more robust song, but then when it switched over to the girl it was smoother, had more finesse. I don't know if thats what you were going for, but to me it didn't seem right because i felt that i was listening to two different songs.

Also, i recommend toning down the volume on all the music during vocal parts. The girls vocals are great but i can barely hear here. You want her vocals to be the dominate sound in your song, so tone down the volume on the music during vocals and fade it back in when she isn't singing. I think that would have made the song a lot clearer and it would have delievered with more strength.

Also, just an idea. I think it would have been awesome if at one part you just completly faded the music out and had only vocals of the girl. Then cut her off for like 5 seconds of complete silence and BAM bust the music back in...just an idea though..

Overall, i enjoyed the song and i'm enjoying your CD sasha. Good work, but get some sleep and don't spend too much time on the computer.

Rave4Yourself responds:

Thanks ivan, i'll work on it. Ya the vox aren't placed right. I'll try and do that 5 sec silence thing too.

Good

Fine work of you =D, must have been hard for you, It's hard to make that kind of songs =D

Rave4Yourself responds:

Yeaaaaa, that melody took forever to figure out. It had to sound happy, and epic at the same time.

annoying, lol.

XD, thanks for review though. :D
