It seems to me, that you were trying to create a game that showed communication, not through sound or text, but through visuals. The problem is, you made a game focused around visuals with shitty visuals. Had this game been made with decent graphics, and perhaps a little more of an explanation as to what it was supposed to be, then maybe it would have been received better.
