First off, hats off to everyone involved; The turn-around time for this project sort of blew me away. Everyone was eager to participate, and I think it shows in the final product.

If you don't feel like reading through all that (lazy asses), each 15 second clip signifies a different year and genre - from the site's origins to present day. There's also an animation being built to go along with this audio featuring some of the flash portal's most prominent artists (http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1388594/1).
Now to address the little tiff below...
I've been contributing audio to Newgrounds for over a decade, but the ONLY reason I'm a part of this collab is because I was lucky enough to stumble upon the topic before all the spots were filled. Moral of the story: Be active in the forums!
If this is supposed to mimic the "feel" of Newgrounds through the ages, i gotta' say, i think it misses. The best period of Newgrounds is early on, after the "Assassin" period and when the portal used the theme music of Unicron from the animated Transformers movie. I could not, for the life of me, pick out from listening to this just where something would come close to those feelz. It also doesn't really convey the awful era (that made me yawn and stop coming here) where it was just a bunch of hentai ads everywhere.
It's intriguing to see a mash up of great artists. Fits perfectly well. Though I don't understand the collaboration purpose(not a huge newgrounder) I do enjoy the music. Gotta give it 5 stars for effort, talent, and most of all, passion.

@Cowherd. What's your problem? Have you been to the industrial section? @Anchorwind has been fairly active for a while now, and does moderately well within the context of a small sub-niche of people. Butt hurt? I don't think so. Have you worked with him before? He's not angry, he's happy. The "0 star" thing also isn't a reflection of a song, look here http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/623003 . He skips the rating when he's not actually rating the song, no big deal. and here http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/621923 he skips the rating just because it's a demo and not a finished project. Here again http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/620762 when just leaving a comment for @TheHeartgrinder , another friend of his I think (judging from collabs and comments)
