Decent game, but the balance seems off. For several levels I can just spam villas and win. Eventually, there's a new house (I think it was a bar?) that I'm guessing you need to spam because that's what the AI did and then I lost. I might just be bad at this game but I feel like it could be made more interesting with balance tweaks and special abilites (x house has a chance each day to get 2x money? idk).
Also, I became frustrated when I would destroy a building and the AI would immediately build one at the new location, maybe there should be a 1-3 day immunity at that location so players can build there. The collision of placing a new house is really weird too, the placement marker doesn't seem related to the size/allowable placement of the building.
So some people are giving this a lower rating because its monogamous & graphically bland...Though i don't see that at the moment & am not an expert in flash or games its still possible. Though my complaint comes from a very simple thing...the directional keys don't work to scroll around the level! You have to use your mouse which doesn't always catch the screen when you need it because your opponent moves to fast for you to react! You couldn't have thought of key board controls?!
Nothing special, but I like the idea, needs something more.
Eh, this game is okay. Once you know what you're doing, you pretty much win every time.
Having bigger plots or more house selection would spice things up a bit, but for now, I give it a 2.5
