an annoying game
annoying at the fire stage
more annoying at the resolve stage

The good:

-- Cute little "lose ability as you play on" concept.
-- Controls were mostly solid
-- Bug/glitch-free in my one playthrough

The not-so-good:

-- While the "lose ability as you play on" idea is nice, it really limits the levels. It'd have been neat if the levels were designed such that after losing an ability, you have to go through essentially the same level, only to realize how much more difficult it is with your new limitation.
-- The spirit level was a tad annoying. Since you can say pretty much ANYTHING about the ability of a spirit (defy gravity? go through walls?) that is really when you can inject some creativity beyond a run-of-the-mill platformer.
-- I think I understand what you tried to convey in the ending but it wasn't very well written. Could have been better presented as a dialogue between the female and a doctor, or just as a short newspaper story about the assault.

Overall... decent but far from memorable. Not bad for 48 hours of work, I guess.

Great work and good idea, normally as you advence though game you gain new abilities, not lose them. As a great man once said
