It seems I have to agree with most of the other reviewers here; the concept and execution are both great, but the game gets so difficult so quickly that you *NEED* to grind the same levels over and over again to make any progress.

There were three things that I kept wishing were different:
1 - Cheaper upgrades so the grinding portions don't take so long
2 - Shorter levels so the game doesn't take forever to play
3 - Fewer cases of "great job! Now do the same thing but with twice as many enemies with twice as much health and twice the damage." Nothing sucked more than thinking I was done, only to be sucker punched by a wave of nearly indestructible murder-bots.

So, the game is great fun, but those periods of fun came at the cost of significant periods of tedium and frustration. I hope you take these thoughts into consideration!

On easy i can play through the game without grinding, no need to repeat levels, in fact it gets too easy as I am overpowered after a while. I will not make it easier.

This game has great music, a sense of humor and is a fairer take on bullet hell shooters.

Concept, graphic, story, style... All very good, but it's so insanely difficult that it stops being fun.

This game makes me sad. The story and characters are fantastic from the start, but even on easy I repeated the 1st stage 5 times to get upgrades, and still couldn't beat the second stage. Too difficult in my opinion.

The game is really great but I only give 3.5 / 5 for these reasons.
I plaid this game for so many hours but the game getting really repetitive and very slow to get upgrade and experience.
Graphic is cool if you like the retro style, but it could be a little bit more polished.
Lack of varieties of weapons.
Salvage upgrade don't seem to change so much after more than 50%.

Overall, really great. I suggest you to try this game, but you need to grind ALOT. This is not a Korean MMORPG... but just a flash...
