Woooooo! Calvin and Hobbes aren't forgotten!
This is some great animation, and a perfect capturing of the art style! Although, now I want to actually see one of their pseudo-theoretical discussions. That'd be definitely fun.
So cool! I love Calvin and Hobbes and your animated rendition stays incredibly true to the design.
This is an excellent animation of the comic strip though I would like to see some improvements:
1. When Calvin was attacked by Hobbes, the background was completely blank. I understand that this is probably the case in the original comic strip, but it does look wierd when animated.
2. The eyes of Calvin switched from wide-eyed upward stare to Ronald Dalhl style stare which is uncharacteristic of Bill Watterson. I'm no connoisseur of Watterson's cartoons, but I'd think he'd prolly have made the eyes a little "popped".
Great work in general. Hope it doesn't get taken down.
Perfect!
And I always wondered why this comic never got a tv release like Garfield - keep going and try to hire some good voice actors for more. I hope to see more like this in the future!
