Reviews for "[REVIVE]"

This game is fantastic. It's basically 2 games in 1 -- without grapefruit and with grapefruit. Some of these room designs are just pure genius. And if you can get all 19 grapefruits, the two "expert" rooms are relatively easy.

But I can't beat time trial to the best of my ability, and for that I probably have my slow computer to blame. Movements are significantly slower in rooms with syrup streams flowing down. This makes Room 13, the most time consuming room, even more time consuming. On one go I didn't make a mistake at all and ended up with a time close to 4:30. And believe me, I've optimized pretty much everything -- stacking 2 crates to push together to save time, pushing crates JUST far enough to use as platforms to jump on, sneaking through Room 12 without having to die, and so on. And I already played the game on mute, closed all other tabs/programs. And I tried both Chrome and Firefox. Couldn't do it.

Music is also fantastic. I thought having the "Command" song on steriods during the time trial was a really nice touch.

Now if you'd excuse me, I'm going to wrap this up and go play Respawn.

LOVE THE GAME! but is there even a way to get the grapefruit in level 18? Don't tell me how, just say yes or no

JonBro responds:

Yes :)

I did it. I bested the facility, stared death in the face and laughed, defeated the dragon, saved the princess, collected citrus fruits and lived happily ever after. And it was all a buildup to a horrible pun.

5/5, would kill myself again.

Wow. This is better than RESPAWN in every way. I like how the game completely changes halfway through. This has a surprisingly deep story for a pixelated game. The title is fitting because it has revived you from the death of Riddle School, and given you a new beginning. GREAT JOB, JONBRO!

Another success...Jonbro. I see a future of video game programming in your life.
