Reviews for "400 Years"

A really unusual game. The perspective of time from something other than us short lived humans is most thought provoking. That and the meditation type music really did it for me.

I would have appreciated if one could walk a little faster - especially after you figure it out and need to backtrack but it's a lesson in patience isn't it?

Excellent game. Quite original. Patience is key. A slow pace is encouraged. Letting things do what they need to do, with occasional help from a benevolent being. An absolute gem of a game. My thanks for time well spent (even if it felt like four hundred years.)

i wish there was something to reverse time. i did not get the humans the grain and waisted 100 years only to find out that i have to waiste some time to help them. if a big, walking stone can cross the frozen sea then the tiny humans can do it too to get to the grain.

the first time i played it i waisted my time by trying to find out how i could get across the sea with the boat without turning the chestnut to dust. then the world burned to ashes because i had not enough time (i could not get that chestnut on the other side of the sea without it turning to ash) to continue. why not just step on a tree, wait and get up (like a lift)?

the music was good and relaxing.

the game is good BUT i stuck in the part where you pass the village of hungry people and need a "helping hand" to get pass a river
I GUESS i need the help of the villagers but i dont know how to fed them
can someone help ?

Smart and relaxing, really nice experimentation, thank you!
(Maybe add an option to switch off character walking sound to enjoy music a bit more)
