Reviews for "400 Years"

This was really interesting. I have to admit that the concept in the game of patience gave an unusual mechanic. Seasons passing by in the blink of an eye... what is a day to a stone? My only regret is that years goes by so quickly. I wish the game itself were longer, that there were more puzzles. Though wanting more of a good game is hardly a problem.

S L O W W W W W!

Besides, blocking a volcano ishte last thing you want to do. Volcanos hat are free to release their lava continuously generally do so non-violently, and help CREATE....by forming solid land. Allowing all that energy to build up beind a giant rock will just cause a cataclysmic explosion that will wipe out life for miles around.

125 YEARS! sweet!
@xAyjAy to get the chestnut to the other side of the lake with the boat is:
1: wait for Fall/Autumn
2: grab a chestnut
3: go into the water
4: climb the net onto the boat
5: plant the chestnut near the tall ledge
6: wait a while
BOOM! almost done!
your welcome :)

awsome game! Or well it might have been.... I don't know what to do when you have to move the tree.

Spring of year 122 is the soonest you can finish. And while the ending may be very appropriate (s/he saves the world with his/her waiting), that sort of blockage can only exacerbate that problem, so I think a different ending could have been envisioned like aiding a dam or launching into space and colliding with an asteroid. That being said, gameplay is well done and the music is excellent. People will complain that you can't move fast - you're a rock on a 400-year deadline. You don't have to move fast!
One final thing that I really enjoyed - the panicking people. I knew they'd panic at first, but originally I thought they'd get used to me. I am of course their benefactor. But once I realize that i'm just this thing that sits around for seasons and moves occasionally to check on construction progress every year or so, it became apparent that they may not fear me, but seeing me move for those 10 seconds would freak anyone out. Well executed game.
