Was really good, and frustrating as hell. those troll spikes man, they were EVERYWHERE. I might have to check my bed tonight when i got to sleep to make sure they aren't there too!

So the first one was excellent. Really alot of fun.....You should get kicked in the balls for this one! In the best way possible of course. Damn was that first level frustrating.

Seems like the first level ended up being the hardest, I really dropped the ball on that one. It's by far the oldest, basically brought over from the original prototype build of the game, so I played it way more than the rest and I think that skewed my sense of how hard it is.

I'm really glad you liked that back story, and I'll definitely be continuing, working on Part 2 right now as a matter of fact.
This game is pretty brutal. Originally Ghost Light was going to be a Meat Boy style ultra hard platformer, the first lost level was actually brought over directly from the original prototype build of the game, but the story kind of took over and I decided to tone down the difficulty.
Part 2 won't be nearly this sadistic, it's difficulty curve will be closer to that of Part 1.

You're definitely not the only one who didn't have a good experience with this, and it really is my fault. I had included an in game message explaining exactly what this is, but I chose to remove it at the last minute because I was worried it would annoy the player. As a result it seems like a lot of people have come into this not knowing what it is.
These are levels made of everything that was too hard for Ghost Light Part 1. If you never played the main game the lost levels will be nearly impossible, and even if you have they're still very punishing. This is mostly for people who like extremely hard platformers, and I should have done more to make that clear.
I'm really sorry that you didn't enjoy my game, I hope this hasn't put you off my work forever.
