*This is a critical rant: I work as a crisis line worker and deeply care about these issues, I appreciate you reading this with the understanding that I am not simply raging to rage*
To start with, I really enjoyed the stories of people going through real struggles with depression. This is something you do not get to see in most games, and I thank you for that. However, it was extremely difficult for me to get through the whole game, (but I did). Here's why: I could not find any answer that ever seemed appropriate for the client. The NUMBER one thing they want you to remember in training is DO NOT give advice. Simply responding with answers is NOT the way you talk to people who are going through a crisis. If you do this, you're not REALLY listening to their concerns. How do I know college is the best choice for the final character right now? I need to ask him how he feels about the situation before I jump and say it's his best option. When someone is feeling depressed, they do not feel empowered. The least I can do is allow them to make their own decisions in life, by asking them what they want. You do not simply give advice. You actually have to demonstrate that you are listening to them, reflecting back on their situation, and assuring them it is ok to feel the way they feel. If someone is not comfortable with how they feel, they might not ever be able to resolve those feelings. The same goes with their situation. How do they feel about it? Only after this point do you start to assess whether they want to change their current situation, and then confirm their own goals in their life. I really struggled with this game, feeling like I was forced to shout back an answer at these people. I'm sorry for being so blunt, but this is a very irresponsible approach to dealing with individuals who are in crisis. As I said before, not only do you need to let people talk, but people need to come up with their OWN solutions to their problems. Thank you for reading this and I am sincerely not trying to simply be a hater for the sake of hating. I work at a suicide hotline and accurate representation of these kinds of issues is really important to me. I would love to discuss your thoughts on suicide and how to be an advocate for helping others responsibly. Thank You.

With this game, I by no means tried to simulate what one *should* say in a real life situation. Rather, all the characters are based on people I know in real life, and the conversations had in the game are based on real conversations I had with people.
I 100% agree with you that the things said by the player are *definitely* not the best things to say to someone who is contemplating suicide. I am no medical expert by any means, simply just a programmer who was suffering from severe depression and tried to make a game as a form of therapy for myself. But alas, thanks for the feedback. I'll try to be more mindful when approaching personal and emotional subjects such as depression and suicide going forward.

The music is pretty wonderful, and touches you deep in the heart...

Ok so this is a pretty sweet concept, I like the idea. Bit morbid, but what isn't these days? Art could have been better, but solid game nonetheless.
Music is so great! Art wasn't the best but the concept is great. Now it's time to leave the game and apply it to real people! Some people were not lucky through their lifes and we must show them how wonderful life it is! This game is nice.
