Reviews for "Inner Vision"

Nice game. Made me think about a lot of things.

The game is intriguing and makes you think about some stuff but you could put a melody that doesn't annoy you, I had to lower the sound cause of it
You could put more cases in the game if you decide to release a second part
Yet the game is a bit depressing with the emo stuff crap, perhaps putting different cases with different problems will be a lovely change in the game

Not bad. First game too huh?

Pros: Simply done, but nice nonetheless. Having taken psychology classes, I can certainly see the validity of simply listening to people and you bring this out nicely here. Music was a nice touch; seems an odd choice at first but I think it works as you're preventing suicide here, not dwelling on it.

Cons: Bit too simple, cleared whole thing in under 6 minutes. Art could be polished a bit more (though oddly I like the reaper's appearance here and attitude). A big problem with 'pick your answer' games is that I usually end up going 'Well crap... I wouldn't pick ANY of these...' at least once, this one was no exception (particularly with the 2nd person's interview).

Other: Ignoring Dhall's pointless banter below, it's a pretty good game considering it's your first and the type of game it is. Could be improved, but keep at it and I'm sure you'll get there.

This was really touching to me, I believe a lot of people can relate to this, and it may show a few people how crude actions are unbareable for people in strife. I also like the acknowledgement of the world-wide heroine concern which has struck the two most powerful countries. Great job, and considerably more concise dialogue options when compared to mass effect. ever consider applying at ea? :P

Honestly don't see Dhall's point: in many countries, it can be really hard to live as a homosexual because of the treatment you receive from the vast majority of people. Just look at the things happening today in America. People are gathering and protesting the rights of other people when same sex marriage won't harm anybody.

But as for the game: I like it. It isn't great or difficult but it reminds you that listening to people can make all the difference. To some people, this might be just a game, but to me...well, this is my past and future. I've helped talk friends back from the brink before and am now on my way to becoming a counseling psychologist. Hear people out when they are feeling low. Just expressing themselves will help them more than they realize.

The graphics are fine, though the music does set an odd tone for a game with this kind of subject matter. It sounds a bit too upbeat and hopeful. It would be good for after you beat the game and have your final talk with skull boy's father, and a smaller upbeat jingle for each completed conversation. The rest of the game would benefit from having music that matches the hopelessness of the people you talk to.
