Reviews for "Qoosh"

Your first mistake was to blatantly proclaim that this laboratory was better then any other ex. Aperture. Especially when you blatantly rip it off.

AethosGames responds:

Learn to take a joke, eh?

Meh. Between being mocked, keeping the death count (how much I've failed), glitches, and a lack of defined rules (wherein your abilities work in some areas or on some things but not others, for reasons never explained), I can't say I enjoy the game particularly much, which is a shame, because it looks like a really neat puzzle game.

I never understood why so many puzzle games and strategy games have some type of irritating narration, where you are mocked, insulted, or derided whilst performing any actions. It's not funny or cute, and doesn't even act as motivation or 'showing the guy up' when you never get to kick their ass at the end.

Also, a self-destruct button would have been appreciated so that whenever you got stuck, you didn't have to restart the whole level.

This game's core mechanic (the slow motion teleport circle) comes from a game a few years ago called Focus. Now, in my opinion, Focus was a much better game. However it irks me to see so many people commenting on this "unique and creative" game, when it seems to me like someone just took all the humour from portal and applied it to a game that's not even their own idea. Try coming up with something original, AethosGames.

AethosGames responds:

Focus is purely teleporting, my teleporting mechanic works in an entirely different way. The addition of the linked switching mechanic completely changes the gameplay. But apparently you didn't get past level 2, otherwise you would have realized that the two games are completely different. Not to mention that Focus' purely keyboard based teleporting is cumbersome and clunky. I believe my implementation of teleporting is better overall as well.

Can't even get past stage 2. No conceivable way to get to the upper platform. Maybe I'm missing what some of the controls are, which are not conveyed to you at all before then.

srry to give this review but i cant even play i just see grey screen
