Reviews for "Fractured"

I feel Like I've played a better version of this game before... it involved platforming, and a less annoying perspective concept, a better story with a bit more detail...

This is still a good game, despite it's many flaws

GroZZleR responds:

I'm pretty sure this exact concept is original but I'm sure there's many other puzzle platformers out there. Glad you still enjoyed it.

It's an interesting enough idea, but the poetry really threw me off. The game itself, really, tries way too hard to be poetic, but the poetry is the worst of it. It's, to be frank, just not very good-particularly the rhyming, which is forced, at best. The narrator has this overdone, sad tone to her voice that makes it obnoxious to listen to, but turning it off feels like its taking away from the game. But overall, it's a good idea and enjoyable to play.

GroZZleR responds:

We're no Poe or Tennyson, that's for sure. Sorry you couldn't get into the narrative. I'm glad you enjoyed the concept though. Thanks for playing.

The game was short but really good. In the event of a sequel I definitely believe that there can be more variation of levels and, if you made the player smaller, could expand the size of your puzzles greatly. I feel that the narration at the end of every level should've instead been at the beginning of each level so that it doesn't get muddled with the end level sound effect.

I can see a game like this being a really great puzzle game if expanded more.

GroZZleR responds:

I'm a little bummed with how small the world had to be to fit into a flash window too. I agree that things need to come down in size so that more puzzle elements could be introduced. Thanks for playing.

Not bad
I really wanted to listen to the poetry in one go. It was annoying to listen to it in pieces.

The game was very fun to play.

Problem I found:

3rd to last stage, I didn't have to utilize the box.
2nd to last stage, when falling down the narrow passage, I got stuck on an invisible platform

GroZZleR responds:

I'm curious how you got around using that box. One giant unforeseen leap? There's no invisible platforms coded in the game so I'm not sure how you got stuck. That sucks. Did you find a workaround?

preety confusing at first
:I but i got the hang of it eventually

GroZZleR responds:

That's half the fun. Glad you enjoyed it.
