while the game was nostalgic of NES playstyle, this all could have been averted.

Had they asked the dad if they could transfer him and his daughter to a safe place with food in exchange for studying his daughter for the betterment of the human race.
Other than the awkward story, the game was great.
I liked it. gameplay was smooth enough to make this rather enjoyable. Although, i find it slightly disturbing that the father could have possibly killed many innocent scientists as well as destroyed the last hope for humanity.

THey try to save the human race... and that makes them the bad guys
Not original concept, but pretty good for a platformer, no lag, nice physics, art, music. The only thing is I hate how when you stop jumping, you fall to fast, messes up my double jumps...Also hate how the mutants camp at the edge of a platform, and when I jump, it knocks me back, and I could never get passed. The keys should also be re-configurable. What I like about the game itself is that while you can get swarmed, the attacks take some time, so I can just run through them...not unit collision either. I like how it's health stations that give you full hp instead of just one one-use heart that only gives me run. The water was cool too.
