Excellent! Nothing outside of the ordinary, but everything is done very well. The controls are crisp and responsive, the enemies and bosses are satisfying, and there is a simple but well presented story to bring it all together. My only suggestion would be to add on a bit more to the ending, adding more backstory on the cure and what exactly it was costing them.
Great game.
Storyboard is catchy and actually fun.
I also was surprised as subject X appeared and I mistakened it for someone else.
The only thing disturbing is that the end really sucks - you actually could've gotten deeper into theplot of how to get a cure for the "virus" or that Lilie and her dad now live with those other dudes underground.
I liked the gameplay really much, also as you begin with nothing and justgain a lot of experience and moves.(which actually should be normal in a game)
Oh - and you did great with the retrostyle.
Only thing that might be missing are the lack of medals the player gets.
Otherwise, the game is grand!

Great game! but the first time i played my guy disappeared and i could just aimlesly move left or right to move the camera O_o
this is a great game... but for christ's sake, can we just stick to WASD? its really irritating having to move my hand all over the keyboard, and for me at least it really ruins the whole experience because i am constantly distracted. What is the point of putting jump as A and then not using the up arrow for anything at all? i just dont get it...
