Reviews for "Wilt: Last Blossom"

Well, to let you know where I'm at in the game as I'm writing this, the walkthrough says "Place three rocks on the platform." I have the three rocks, but I have no idea what platform it's talking about.

The game seems quite awesome, but I really dislike the title. When the daughter's name is Lily, and the name of the game is Wilt, you just kinda feel like the girl's going to die at the end. If I ever get to the end, if she does die, I'll be sad. If she doesn't, I'll be surprised, and if there's no clear outcome, I'll be mad. Anyway, I think that's the end of that rant.

The music gets annoying after a while, but if every composer was Koji Kondo, then we would achieve world peace and all sickness and misery would be gone and we could collectivize into a self-governing autocracy free of corruption and vice and we could all join hands and be happy and everything would be good and world hunger would end and we would all be nice to each other and there would be no more problems ever and I think you get the point and I would like to congratulate you on reading this far despite the fact that I haven't used any commas or periods or anything like that is something like five lines and I just want to warn you now that there's probably nothing else important in this sentence so you should just stop reading now and I really think that you won't stop reading now even though I've already told you to stop reading but it's kinda meta because if you did stop reading then you wouldn't be reading this and you wouldn't know I was wrong about you stopping reading and seriously why are you still reading this oh well my point in all this is that Koji Kondo is a great composer and in case you didn't know he's the guy who wrote all the music for Super Mario Brothers and The Legend of Zelda and he's so great because he could make music that you could listen to for hours and not get tired of it even though it's 8-bit music unlike whoever you got for your music not that that's out of the ordinary because after all that's why Koji Kondo is so famous and gets paid so much. *GASP*

^--The fact that I bothered to write that much is probably a good reflection on your game.

Asvegren responds:

holy shit

(in the section where you got the three rocks, go to the top right, in that screen there is a platform that temporarily opens a door , hit down/space when you stand on it to drop yer rocks)

really good game, i feel bad for finish it

Yay for modern 8-bit games! The music was good and fit well with the depressing atmosphere. I like the touches like the swirl of energy bits and flashes of lightning giving some pizzazz to the retro game. The upgrade system was nice and had no way to accidentally access sections you didn't have the upgrade for. Controls were sometimes a bit iffy on the jump but otherwise good. The only complaint is if you rode the boat without fully upping your pill stock you would be more or less screwed for the last bit in the mutant lab since you can't return to my knowledge and "She" was quite hard.

this game gets boring after a while

guys, on the first boss, there are some spikes on the roof! you need to hit the boss when he is under the spikes. if you do that, he will take damage! do this on all the spikes and he will die. By the way, this game is awesome!
