Cool idea! The only gripe I have with the game is the two different buttons for shooting (Z / X). Imho it would be more intuitive if there was only one button and the player shoots in whatever directs he is facing. I constantly found myself turning left with arrow keys and pressing X and shooting Right.

there's many problems that makes this game hard and impossible to beat, first of all the keep changin of weapon with the crate, you cannot expect what you got and if you will have knockback with the weapon you get. another thing is the black sides of the screen that could not be a problem if only these were not spawning points for crates, if you approach a crate 90/100 you die for a monster comin you cannot obviousely see. then the obvious fact you cant shoot up and down, how could anyone evade a huge mass comin by those directions?
but the main huge problem is control, too squisqy and not precise, and with that the hitbox of your char, there's somethin wrong with that.
Definitely gets annoying when a red blob runs into while you're on one end of the page. It robs a lot of the skill element from the game. I also admit I have a problem with upgrade games where upgrades make the game harder to play. I'm looking at you, rocket launcher.
