Reviews for "The Children of Brinn"

Good game, I had fun playing it. Text wasn't too heavy, maybe a bit much, but not to the point where it becomes just a pain in the butthole to read. There's a lot of potential for more visual aesthetics. Speaking of visuals, while the characters are well-designed, what's the use of a 6 item-space inventory when characters only pick up one or two items?
Overall, nice simple game. A lot of room for improvement in the future.

This is one of my favorite types of games. I have only seen a few, but I have enjoyed every one of them, and this is no exception. The story is well-written, with logical changes based on what choices I make. The music is nice, the art is well-done but I would've like some more illustrations. I would like to see this expanded, perhaps giving us more adventures, and letting us choose our starting heros/weapons from a wider selection. A great game, and I look forward to seeing more from you in the future :)

Really good. I really liked how even by killing some party members, you can get a higher score. It was pretty cool.

A good game, but the score seems to have nothing to do with how well you do.

I took the careful, logical option at each decision point, and beat the game with everyone surviving. But the experience was very...underwhelming. One thing I don't understand is the scoring system - I went back over the game, made more stupid decisions, and ended up with a higher score? How does that work? Do you get points for losing party members or something?
