Okay, so maybe this is a short-term experience, but I adore this game. Why?
Well, at first I thought this is going to strictly be something like Tetris, and not a lot more, but this game LIED! And.... I like it all the MORE for it! The physics twist did caught me off guard and I found that largely amusing. This game asks for both the logical thinking and a good aim (so I believe this-one is all the better for kids), in order to succeed. Artwork is nice, and music felt pretty cool, but I guess it would get boring after a while (it is not like I listen to game sounds most of the time anyway, since I have my EBM favorites going all day long, LOL), but I still do not find it a problem since it does not play a major part in this game anyway, plus everyone has their own taste and you cannot cater them all at once. What is the jewel of this game is the replay value of it. It is definitely based on the old games (like the aforementioned Tetris), but it uses the innovation of physics, which I do find somewhat unique (I do not usually play these kinda games usually, so maybe it's just me, LOL), and it is quite likely I am going to remember this game whenever conversation would be going about anything else related to that. I did not found it frustrating or anything for my failures, while trying to build up, since the only-one to blame for anything would be me, especially since I felt the aiming well-designed (in other words, no shape misbehaves, than it appears to be) and the balance is entirely logical. So... In conclusion:
The Goods:
Excellent replay value
Global rankings make it more competitive
Classic old school simplicity with in a sense demanding gameplay
The Bads:
I honestly cannot think of anything. The concept of the game is simple, there is no need to complicate it. It is a game with an old school mindframe and old school charm, why try to change that?
Overall:
Definitely one of my NG favorites!:D
